Social Campaign - The aim of this project was to choose an issue that interested/engaged us and create a social campaign around it using both conventional and unconventional ways to spread the message.
My campaign centred around asylum seekers and refugees, and my idea was to tie in the anglo-saxen heritage in Australia with the plight of people who arrive by boat. My idea was that a public intervention would occur on Australia Day, the day the British invaded Australia and colonised it. Men and women dressed in period costume would attempt to land on the shores of the Derwent River only to be repelled by security. I’m sure most Australians wouldn’t tell a British or American dude who had been tortured and fled his country in fear to ‘go back to where you came from’.Info

Get Biked is a speculative bicycle, music and street art festival held in three locations over one day. The aim of the festival was to encourage youth to experience using a bicycle as transportation, with the audience cycling from one music act to the other throughout the day.
